Viacom International Media Networks Names President of Americas Division

VIMN chief operating officer Pierlugi Gazzolo will be taking on the additional role as president of the Americas division, which includes Latin America, Canada and the U.S. Hispanic market.

The Miami-based executive will report to VIMN CEO Bob Bakish. Gozzolo will oversee the Paramount Channel launch in Latin America as well as local production for MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.

Gazzolo was previously president of MTV Networks Latin America.
