NEW YORK — ICM is adding a Nacho to its plate. The agency has signed Spanish writer-director Nacho Vigalondo to its list of clients.
Vigalondo’s first feature, the Spanish sci-fi flick “Los Cronocrimenes” (Timecrimes), was just acquired by Magnolia Pictures for a 2008 theatrical release. It won best feature honors at Austin’s Fantastic Fest this year.
HDNet Films international sales chief Laird Adamson will rep the film at AFM. During the market, ICM will be selling remake rights to the comic feature, which follows a man who travels back in time and meets himself, leading to all sorts of chaos.
Vigalondo also wrote and directed “7:35 de la manana” (7:35AM), which was nominated for an Oscar for best live-action short in 2005.
Vigalondo also is represented by manager Dave Chariton.
