Vivi Zigler has been promoted to president of NBC Universal Digital Entertainment.
Zigler most recently was executive vp of NBC Digital Entertainment and New Media, where she oversaw NBC Universal Digital Studio and NBC Digital Entertainment, including NBC.com. She will continue to be responsible for those properties.
At NBC.com, Zigler has spearheaded the 360 online extensions of such NBC franchises as “Heroes,” “The Office” and “30 Rock.” NBC Uni Digital Studios will see the launch of brand-integrated programming with the “Gemini Division,” starring Rosario Dawson, debuting in the summer.
Zigler, who joined the company’s digital ranks in August 2006, has worked at NBC for more than a decade. She was senior vp marketing and services for the NBC Agency, where she oversaw marketing for Bravo, and executive vp current programs at NBC Entertainment, overseeing the production of the network’s comedy and drama shows.
