Warner Bros announced the acquisition of UK-based publisher TT Games as it continues to build out both its development and game distribution infrastructure. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the deal included both the publisher and its well-respected Traveller’s Tales development house. TT Games is best known for the Lego Stars Wars series, which has combined to sell more than 12 million copies worldwide and was already working with Warner Bros. on a Lego Batman game. “They are a great fit for us and the right next step for Warner Bros. as we grow into a significant presence in the games space,” said Warner Bros. chairman/CEO Barry Meyer in a statement.
