Warner Premiere has promoted Eva Davis to senior vp acquisitions and business development and Stephanie Schroeder to senior vp business affairs.
Diane Nelson, president of Premiere, Warner Bros. Entertainment’s direct-to-consumer production division, cited the duo’s crucial work in helping to get the division up and running.
“Eva’s global acquisitions strategy has allowed us to serve international markets and round out our overall content plan, and Stephanie’s skillful dealmaking has ensured we have robust slate ahead of us,” Nelson said.
In her newly created post, Davis will have increased responsibilities in Premiere’s acquisitions and business development areas, with an expanded involvement in financial and strategic planning, as well as digital content acquisitions focusing on shortform programming for mobile and online spaces.
In her new position, Schroeder will increase her oversight to act as the primary negotiator for Premiere’s divisional needs, including structuring deals for talent and acquisitions as well as shortform digital content.
Davis worked in consumer products marketing for more than 15 years on leading brands including Coca-Cola, Upper Deck and Kraft Foods.
Schroeder was vp business and legal affairs at Paramount, where she helped build the company’s DVD Premiere group. Before that, she held business and legal affairs positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment, Paramount Network Television, Jim Henson Pictures, Morgan Creek and Wilshire Court Prods.
