QuizUp, developed by Iceland- and San Francisco-based Plain Vanilla Games, allows users to compete in real time against one another with more than 200,000 trivia questions spanning more than 360 topics. Shortly after launching last November, the game hit No. 1 on iTunes’ free apps chart, with more than 1 million downloads, and has more than 10 million users to date.

WME’s recent dealings in the digital space also include packaging the 2014 comedy feature Camp Takota, a direct-to-consumer digital release that stars YouTube personalities Grace Helbig, Mamrie Hart and Hannah Hart and is currently No. 7 on iTunes’ independent movies chart. The agency also has invested in the streaming music service Songza, digital distributor VHX and e-sports management platform Battlefy.
