Select Management Group, a fledgling firm that represents YouTube and Instagram talent, has brought on a digital veteran to help build the business.
The company announced on Wednesday that Adam Wescott has joined as co-founder.
Scott Fisher, a former talent manager at Collective Digital Studio, founded Select last year to work with digital-native talent. The firm currently represents YouTubers Gigi Gorgeous and Tess Christine, among others.
Wescott brings with him more than 10 years of digital experience. He was previously an executive producer at Mind Chatter Media. He has also held leadership roles at Penske Media’s PMC Studios and EQAL, where he worked on celebrities including Bethenny Frankel and Lauren Conrad. In his new role, Wescott will oversee new entertainment arm SelectNext, which will develop original projects and business ventures.
“We see a need for a truly independent management company to support digital talent and help them achieve career longevity,” Fisher said. “Beyond management, SelectNext celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of our talent and the digital landscape.”
Added Wescott: “I look forward to expanding the management offering and building original business under the Select umbrella.”
Select also announced on Wednesday brand campaigns with Too Faced Cosmetics, Vevo and Practive+.
