Continuing its expansion into online media, German broadcasting giant ProSiebenSat.1 has taken an equity stake in Talenthouse, the L.A.-based group behind artist networking platform Talenthouse.com.
Under the deal, which ProSieben announced Thursday, ProSieben’s subsidiary Starwatch Entertainment will take a minority stake in Talenthouse with the aim of launching a version of the networking platform in Germany.
Earlier this year, ProSiebenSat.1’s production and sales arm Red Arrow took a 20 percent stake in U.S. Multi-Channel Network Collective Digital Studio. The company already owns numerous international produciton companies, including Fabrik Entertainment, producers of upcoming series Bosch for Amazon and Odyssey for NBC; and factual shingle Half Yard Productions (Say Yes to the Dress).
