A 4.2 magnintude earthquake hit Los Angeles Thursday afternoon with an epicenter near the northern L.A. County suburb of Newhall.
Naturally, actors and comedians leaped to their Twitter accounts to share their thoughts on the relatively minor tremble.
NCIS actress Pauley Perrette was filming the series right near the epicenter when the quake struck. She tweeted, “4.2 magnitude centered right here by the #NCIS stage. All is well, lots of equipment shook.” One of her fans responded, “#NCIS is so good, the earth moved.”
Rizzoli & Isles actress Angie Harmon tweeted, “We just had a 4.1 earthquake… We just kept on shooting… Insuring my raise for season 3!! :). THAT’S dedication!”
Raquel Cordova on Latino 96.3 FM tweeted, “I didn’t feel nuttin! Thank God!”
Comedian Morgan Murphy tweeted, “just hid in a doorway. not because of the earthquake, just cuz I’m weird.”
Former The Talk co-host Leah Remini reassured her fans, “4.2 Earthquake here in L.A. All is well. No worries. No damage reported so far. Thank you guys for asking.”
Stella comedian Michael Ian Black admonished his L.A. friends, “Oh my God, one little earthquake in LA and people freak out. We’ve been dealing with them in New York for weeks!”
KCBS news anchor Laura Diaz used the earthquake to try out a little slang, “In the beautiful Bu ( Malibu ) for 9/11 show . Breathtaking ! Did not feel the earthquake! My sis did in the valley !”
Patricia Heaton, from ABC’s The Middle, seemed very excited about the quake: “Whoohoo! Earthquake LA! Life is precarious, people – carpe diem!”
7th Heaven dad Stephen Collins tweeted, “I was in an office building in Hollywood and actually enjoyed the earthquake. If the earth needs to shift, better a 4.2 than the Big One.”
