GoDigital has appointed Nick Soares as its CEO.
The company, which specializes in the day-and-date release of independent films, acquired Soares‘ online distribution company Distribber.com last year. He reports to the the GoDigital board, which is led by chairman Ed Ojdana.
The company has also added Preferred Content CEO and Jiro Dreams of Sushi producer Kevin Iwashina to its board of directors.
GoDigital’s Distribber.com is a self-service platform through which independent filmmakers can distribute their work to outlets including iTunes, Amazon Prime and Dish Network.
Said Soares: “We have worked hard to expand our client list of filmmakers, user base and distribution alliances with all of the top digital retailers, and I look forward to bringing even more success to these areas and content creators worldwide.”
