Revelmode, which features Kjellberg and other gaming- and pop culture-focused YouTube stars, will offer up original shows, new games, philanthropy opportunities, merchandise and commercial partnerships.
Kjellberg and Maker are hand picking and incubating talent on the Revelmode network. Those participating include horror gamer Ken Morrison, aka CinnamonToastKen, fashion and beauty expert Marzia Bisognin, aka CutiePieMarzia, and actor and comedian Mark Fischbach, aka Markiplier.
“I started as a gaming and digital content fan long before making this a profession,” said Kjellberg. “I have seen many challenges and successes in growing a brand and authentically communicating with an audience, and wanted to take what I’ve learned and create something unique. The idea of Revelmode was built from my own experiences and will aim to bring together an Avengers-like talent squad to work and grow a business together.”
He added that Revelmode, which will make content available on its website and YouTube, will be a place for talent to work together to “focus on creating — from one-off videos to original series to gamey games to animations, music, clothes, charity drives and more — really anything that’s awesome in the eyes of the fans.”
Kjellberg is the most-subscribed YouTube star with 41.6 million subscribers to his gaming videos and vlogs. He will soon star in YouTube original series Scare PewDiePie.
