Professional gamer Ali Hassan, better known as SypherPK, has signed an exclusive streaming deal with Twitch, and, with those resources, will establish a talent incubator for up-and-coming streamers.
The goal of the incubator, which builds upon Hassan’s foundation of creating educational videos to help people improve at various games, is to accelerate the careers of pro-gamers and streamers. “As an individual, there’s too many things to take on by yourself,” the streamer, who is managed by his wife, tells The Hollywood Reporter. He adds that content creators need the help of others to execute videos and sponsorships.
Hassan, who is also active on YouTube and other major social media channels, explains that the incubator will provide tools and resources to help upcoming content creators take their vision to the next level. Participants will be assisted with video production and talent representation, cross-channel promotional support, viewer development and more.

Though there are several platforms vying for streaming talent today, Hassan says that he committed to Twitch because the Amazon-owned platform provides not only financial security but also a more balanced schedule where he won’t have to stream every day — allowing him to focus on expanding his brand.
“It’s very hard sometimes to take a day off because I feel like I could be making content, I could be doing more,” says Hassan. “This streaming deal is fantastic because it helps tackle some of those problems where I’m not going to feel like I have to be live every single day, ten hours a day like I have been for the past couple of years.”
Hassan has been gaming full time since 2015 and boasts 3.9 million followers on Twitch, where he plays battle royale games such as Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as party games like Among Us and Fall Guys.
Looking ahead to 2021, Hassan will continue to diversify the games he plays. “I feel like it’s important to constantly be evolving and constantly gaining a new audience, because in this industry it’s very easy to fall off, it’s very easy to lose your momentum especially if you’re not innovating and trying new things.”
