Gaming phenomenon Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is among five Red Bull athletes featured in a series of augmented reality games.
The series, dubbed “Discover Your Wiiings,” lives on the Red Bull AR mobile app and offers themed courses and exclusive prizes.
Blevins’ game is an esports-themed experience called Target Take Down, in which players defeat as many enemies as possible before being hit five times.
The grand prize will be a gaming session with Ninja. The second place winner will receive a Red Bull themed “Discover Your Wiiings” PC Case. Third prize is a Red Bull-themed pack.
At 29, Ninja is known as the face of professional gaming and is looking to expand his brand into Hollywood, including movies, voice acting and cartoons. He signed with CAA in October last year, just one month after inking a multiyear deal to return to Twitch, where he has recently been streaming Valorant. He currently has 16.7 million followers on the platform.
Also included in the “Discover Your Wiiings” series is Travis Pastrana’s rallycross game Conquer the Track, in which the first prize winner will get to ride in his rallycross car, while Zion Wright’s skateboarding game Grind the Rails will offer the first prize taker a skating day. The winner of Kate Courtney’s mountain biking game Climb the Trail will be given a day of mountain biking with the athlete, and the champion of Carissa Moore’s surfing game will hit the waves.
To participate in the games, which are available until March 31, a customer must scan a can or pack of select Red Bull products.
