Executives from YouTube, Instagram, Twitch and TikTok will take the stage at VidCon this summer for the festival’s industry programming track.
Neal Mohan, chief product officer at YouTube, will be the industry creator keynote speaker July 11. Other speakers expected include Jackson Williams, head of strategic partnerships and emerging talent at Instagram; Michael Aragon, senior vp content at Twitch; Vanessa Pappas, general manager at TikTok; and Stephanie McMahon, chief brand officer at WWE.
VidCon takes place annually at the Anaheim Convention Center. This year, the online video showcase will run July 10-13.
The festival is split into multiple programming tracks for different attendees. The industry track focuses on the executives who run many of the online video community’s largest companies, while the creator track focuses on talent who use online platforms to share their work and the community track focuses on fans.
All told, more than 150 speakers will participate in the industry programming. Talent expected to attend include VidCon founders Hank and John Green and creators Hannah Hart, The Try Guys and Kandee Johnson.
VidCon, which is heading into its 10th year, also hosts events in Europe and Australia. The festival hosted more than 100,000 attendees over the last year across its various events.
