A mashup of three of their hits—Lavigne’s “Complicated” and Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me” and “Rockstar”— has emerged online, and the results are … hilarious.
According to reports, the couple’s six-month courtship began when Kroeger co-wrote a song for Lavigne’s forthcoming album. That effort should turn out better than this mashup, aptly titled “Chavril Krovigne - This Is How You Remind Me That Being A Rock Star Is Complicated.”
The news of the Canadian couple's engagement has sparked both elation and mockery online, and it’s unclear where SoundCloud user Insanity Wolf, who uploaded the mashup, falls.
