Beyonce throws her hands in the air -- in true dramatic fashion -- during her set.

Overnight, Beyonce released her fifth studio effort on iTunes -- a self-titled "visual album" of 14 songs, with credited guests including Jay Z, Drake, Frank Ocean and daughter Blue Ivy. The surprise album is her first since 2011's 4, announced late Dec. 12 without warning on the singer's official Facebook page and Instagram account.

And at more of an exponential magnitude than when the singer tried a different diet or debuted a new hairdo, the Internet blew up, lighting Twitter ablaze with Hollywood's reactions to the strategically marketed release.

Alicia Keys, Destiny's Child bandmate Michelle Williams and sister Solange Knowles sang their praises, while Emma Roberts and Anita Baker gawked at the performer's superhuman productivity level. Arrow's Colton Haynes openly acknowledged the musician's newly elevated sensual sound, and speculated that her singing will affect condom sales this weekend.
