Bruno Mars L.A. Concert Draws Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort and Olivia Munn
The star power of Bruno Mars — matched with a launch bash for T-Mobile's Un-carrier X offering, which features free video streaming — was enough to bring celebrities like Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Olivia Munn, Brittany Snow, Jaime King and more to downtown L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium on Nov. 10 for an hour-long set.
"He's just an incredible performer," Teller told The Hollywood Reporter before the show, which drew a total of 6,000 fans.
Zedd opened the show with an energetic set where songs like "Clarity" were complemented with a light show. During intermission, Lil Jon and DJ Vice performed together, continuing the high energy atmosphere and spinning hits like Drake's latest single "Hotline Bling."
Before his onstage outing, Lil Jon told THR what he was looking forward to on Monday night: "Getting up on the turntables and making people shake their booties, have fun and get crazy."
When pressed for his response about Donald Trump's political aspirations, the rapper got serious. (Lil Jon appeared on All Star Celebrity Apprentice in 2013, where he worked closely with Trump.) "You had to ask me that one!," he laughed. "I think he's going to end up dropping out. He made his presence known, I will say that."
As for Mars, he opened the show with his song "Treasure," followed by a song he never recorded but was the first song he ever wrote, titled "On Top of the World." His hour long set also included songs "Billionaire," "Marry You," "Just The Way You Are" and "Uptown Funk."
