Grammy Awards: Madonna, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran Among Performers
Madonna is among the first performers announced for the upcoming 57th Grammy Awards, which will air Sunday, Feb. 8, on CBS.
It will mark the fifth time she has taken the Grammy stage. The seven-time Grammy winner last performed on the show just a year ago, with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

On Jan. 12, the Queen of Pop shared an image to her social media accounts of a Grammy Award wrapped in now-familiar black wire (as seen on the cover of her upcoming Rebel Heart album and many of her Instagram posts) with the caption: "Rebel Hearts see you Feb 8th @theGRAMMYs." (The Grammy Awards' official Twitter account retweeted the news shortly afterward.)
The awards ceremony with take place two days before Madonna's new single, "Living for Love," will officially begin its promotion on U.S. radio. It's the lead track from the Rebel Heart album, which will be released on March 10 through Interscope Records.
Madonna first hinted at a Grammy Awards performance in a December interview with Billboard, saying that it was "possibly something that's gonna happen."
On Tuesday morning, the Grammys confirmed her as a performer and announced that Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Eric Church and AC/DC also will perform at the ceremony. AC/DC, Church and Grande will be performing at the Grammys for the first time.
Grande scored two nominations this year: best pop duo/group performance for "Bang Bang" (with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj), and best pop vocal album for My Everything. Sheeran has three noms: album of the year and best pop vocal album for x, and best song written for visual media for "I See Fire."
Church is up for four awards this year: best country solo performance and best country song for "Give Me Back My Hometown," best country duo/group performance for "Raise 'Em Up" (with Keith Urban), and best country album for The Outsiders.
