Ted Nugent, the veteran rocker, gun advocate and ardent GOP supporter, is as famous for grabbing headlines as he is for his music.

He’s just gotten back in the news for a different type of grab — he clutched his own privates at a Donald Trump rally.

The 67-year-old singer made the crude gesture and dropped an array of profanities Sunday while warming up the crowd as the traveling Trump show made a late push in the traditionally Democratic state of Michigan.

Nugent performed the national anthem and delivered a rousing speech for the gathering at Sterling Heights’ Freedom Hill Amphitheater. And then he went for a below-the-belt hit.

“I’ve got your blue state right here — black and blue,” Nugent said as he grabbed his groin. “Each and every one of you have only 24 hours to convince the numb nuts that you know, that you can’t vote for criminals, you can’t vote for liars, you can’t vote for scam artists.”

Nugent then slung his guitar and got to work on solo renditions of “Fred Bear” and “Never Stop Believing.” Some minutes after the performer exited the stage, the headline act strolled to the podium. “Unbelievable what’s going on," Trump told the crowd.

While Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has enjoyed pre-election support from A-listers Katy Perry, Beyonce, Jay Z and Bon Jovi and many others, Trump has boasted that he doesn’t need star power to fill his venues — though he can always rely on Nugent's assistance.

The classic rocker has been banging the drum for Trump since the billionaire businessman and celebrity announced his bid for the top job. "I'm a big fan of Donald Trump because I believe in bold, aggressive, unapologetic truth — period," Nugent announced on WIBX's Keeler in the Morning back in August 2015.
