Tom Hiddleston Preps for Hank Williams Biopic With Surprise Festival Performance

Tom Hiddleston Hank Williams - H 2014
Tom Hiddleston surprised concert attendees at Michigan's Wheatland Music Festival on Saturday, stopping by to perform a cover of Hank Williams' "Move It on Over."
The British actor famous for playing the super villain Loki in the Thor and Avengers movies is set to portray the singer in an upcoming biopic called I Saw the Light.
On Sunday, he returned again to join Rodney Crowell on Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry":

It may be too early to judge Hiddleston's ability to fill the country legend's shoes on the big screen, but on "Move It on Over," he seems to have that drawl down, even his voice is noticeably gruffer than Williams' iconic tenor. We'll be curious to hear how he yodels.
