Weezer just debuted "Thank God for Girls," the band's first new single since the 2014 album Everything Will Be Alright in the End, alongside a graphic (if the brutal destruction of cannoli offends you) lyric video.

Though there are no additional hints about an upcoming full-length release, frontman Rivers Cuomo does promise "more to come very soon" on Facebook.

"It's a perfect mix of weezer past and future. The chorus soars on melodic wings. It rocks sooooo hard. I can't really compare it to anything specific we’ve ever done. But I can't wait for more!" he also wrote. "I think this may be a big hit single. I hope I'm not overselling it but I think it’s great! (adventurous, brave, fun, compelling, rocking, and I just LOVE it.)"
