He says he only wants to talk with creators about the shows “burning a hole in their gut,” a la Ridley Scott’s dystopian (and pricey) drama The Man in the High Castle.

Price offered him the job after reading his book, Hope for Film. Hope jokes, “It was a 350-page résumé.”
