After leaving SNL, Rock appeared as a guest in sketches throughout the Fox series' fifth season. The show's regular cast members included the Wayans family, Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx.
Rock co-starred as a bellhop who befriends Chris Farley's title character in this 1997 comedy about a man who was raised by ninjas. It pulled in $31 million at the box office. Rock and Farley were both castmembers together on Saturday Night Live in the early '90s, and this was Farley's last film to be released before his death in December 1997.
