????"The beauty of having older sisters is you learn so many lessons from them," says Kendall. "Not that anything is horrible about what my sisters have done, but I've seen how their relationships play out on TV, so I learned that lesson. I feel like it’s just better to keep it more private.”
“I looked like such a cow, and I can’t stand to see those episodes,” says Kim of filming during her pregnancies. Of plans for a third child (reportedly via surrogate), she adds, “There have been a lot of things said, and Kanye and I have not confirmed anything. We’re definitely trying. We are hoping.”
“It’s a blessing to have the show to put you in that spotlight where you can let people see the brand you’re trying to create,” says Khloe. “But people need to be aware of their authenticity and do things out of passion, not just to make a dollar. There’s been a learning curve.”
“It’s not the healthiest,” says Kylie of watching her sisters go through relationship traumas on TV.
"It always occurs to me, ‘Maybe this should be left out, maybe this is too much,’ ” says Kris. “Every time, I catch myself and I say, ‘No, this is what everyone who’s watched since day one deserves to see.’ We signed up for this. But there are moments when it’s hard because it’s vulnerable.”
“The hardest episode was my breakup with Scott [Disick],” says Kourtney. “I had a lot of anxiety.”
"I feel like I’ve been hiding myself and my personal life for a really long time, so I thought it was time to do this show and hopefully be a little more understood," says Kylie.
Kim on her short-lived 2011 marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries: "Everyone wanted to take me down. Think about this realistically — if it was [just] for the show, don't you think we would have found someone who signed off? Someone OK with getting married and divorced two months later?"
"There was barely Twitter when we started," Kris recalls of the show's first season. "Ryan [Seacrest] called Kim and said, 'There's this thing called Twitter you might want to pay attention to.' The girls [began] embracing their audience and sharing their lives."
"I don’t think we knew what we were even saying yes to," Khole says of the show's first season.
"I’m the most private one" says Kendall. "If there's a moment I don’t want anyone to hear, I talk to myself or talk to someone in another room."
