Beyonce took the stage at halftime of Sunday's Super Bowl at New Orleans' Superdome. She sang a medley of her biggest hits, including "Crazy in Love" and "Halo."
In his review of the halftime show, THR's David Rooney wrote: "Beyonce turned on a high-energy, sexually charged performance with exciting multimedia elements. The most eye-popping of these techno-tricks was a double image of Beyonce’s face outlined in lights, with a sea of flowing fabric tresses."
"Ok, for reals, @beyonce 's #superbowl performance was the best of all time. Gotta say I'm #crushing…," tweeted Adrian Grenier (Entourage) after the halftime show, while Kelly Ripa added: "This is the BEST BEYONCE CONCERT I've ever seen!!!!! #crazyinlove!!!!
Beyonce's costume was created by New York designer Rubin Singer, who says his team of 14 put in 200 manhours on the outfit.
The show featured 120 backup dancers.
Beyonce had five fittings with New York designer Rubin Singer to create her look. "Beyonce is such a fierce and intense performer we could not have the outfit constrict her in any way," singer said.
The reunited Destiny's Child sang "Bootylicious," "Independent Woman" and Beyonce's "Single Ladies."
