Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd are longtime pals from their pre-fame days, and co-starred in the 1998 comedy The Object of My Affection. In Wanderlust, they play uptight Manhattan couple George and Linda, who ditch city life and learn to let loose — and live off the land — a motley crue of free-loving hippies. While some of the film’s funniest moments involved sex, drugs and nudists, Aniston said that it was all in fun. “If anything, there was a lot of laughter,” Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter. As for Rudd, she said: "I love him. He is a dear friend. We just have a true affection for each other and I just feel honored any time I get to work with him.”

Justin Theroux and David Wain

Justin Theroux, clean-shaven of late, suited up for Thursday's event, careful to avoid girlfriend Jennifer Aniston on the red carpet. Instead, the actor-slash-screenwriter — who penned Tropic Thunder and the upcoming adaptation of the Broadway smash Rock of Ages — opted for a photo op with David Wain. The Wanderlust helmer previously directed Theroux in 2007's The Ten and 2005's The Baxter.

Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd smiles for the camera. The actor portrays a neurotic New Yorker (surprise, surprise) who loses his job, then begins a dramatically different new life on a hippie commune with his equally stressed-out partner, portrayed by Jennifer Aniston. The Universal Pictures comedy, written and directed by David Wain, hits theaters Feb. 24.

Jennifer Aniston, looking taut and tanned per usual, sported a tailored, snug-fitting sheath with a zig-zag pattern. Next week, the former Friends actress will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (hers will be located in front of the W Hollywood Hotel at the corner of Hollywood and Vine.)

Malin Akerman — taking time out to sign fan autographs — was a seemingly perfect choice to play a free-spirited natural beauty on the commune wherein Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston's characters embrace life in the slow lane, sans cell phones and with drugs (and nudists).

Judd Apatow

Given the comedic cred involved in Wanderlust, it somehow makes sense that Judd Apatow is part of the operation. The Hollywood heavyweight — who produced the female-fronted 2011 blockbuster Bridesmaids — is a producer on Wanderlust along with David Wain, Ken Marino and Paul Rudd. Up next for Apatow: This Is 40, which he's directing with Rudd, Jason Segel, Megan Fox and Melissa McCarthy in the cast.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston, who's involved in a relationship with Justin Theroux, her Wanderlust co-star, managed to avoid walking the carpet with the actor. She did, however, greet fans at Thursday's premiere.

Joe Lo Truglio, Jordan Peele, and Ken Marino

Ken Marino (on the far right), who co-wrote the movie with director David Wain, takes a group photo with Wanderlust actors Joe Lo Truglio and Jordan Peele. Marino also co-stars in the comedy, and has collaborated with Wain — his former college roommate — on such cult films as Wet Hot American Summer and The Ten.

Ray Liotta

No red carpet is complete without a seemingly random, unexpected appearance from Ray Liotta. The Scarface actor will soon be seen opposite  Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper in the upcoming crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines.

Malin Akerman

Malin Akerman's forthcoming roles include the infamous '70s porn icon in Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story and a less risque role alongside Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin in Rock of Ages, based on the hit Broadway musical.

Kate Flannery

Kate Flannery, who plays inappropriate trainwreck Meredith Palmer on NBC's The Office, showed her support for Wanderlust in a stylish black minidress and boots. (The actress is also a big fan of Ricky Gervais' unfiltered brand of humor.)
