For 3-year-old Amelia, going trick-or-treating is just as serious as saving Hyrule.

The budding YouTube star goes on a quest for candy as Link from The Legend of Zelda in an new video released Thursday. Along the way she uses the Master Sword, hangs out with the fairy Navi and bests beasts familiar to fans of the game using bombs and a bow and arrow.

The adorable video was created by her father Matt Silverman, who is director of social video at The Daily Dot. Together, they have created an entire YouTube channel featuring Amelia's adventures.

"She is young, so she gets bored and distracted easily, so often these projects are shot in very tiny increments where she'll say a couple lines," Silverman tells Heat Vision

But with the help of two family members, the team was able to film most of this video in just one day. (It also helped that like Link, Amelia doesn't have much dialogue.)

"Most of what you're seeing, we are just shouting at her from across a field going,' Run, run run!' and we just cut that out, because Link doesn't talk in the games," says Silverman. "I'm still reeling from how efficient that was. I couldn't believe how easy and fun it was, because it's not always that efficient."

Though the internet isn't known as being the most civil of spaces, Silverman says the response to Amelia's videos (one of which went viral and earned 1.3 million views in May) has been amazingly positive.

"We've been blown away by this outpouring of love. We think of YouTube and the internet and the video space where there is a lot of trolling and a lot of nastiness. That is quite the opposite from the audience that is finding us," says Silverman.
