Doesn't that news anchor look familiar?

A new viral teaser for Marvel Studios' Ant-Man reminds viewers that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is one big playground by referencing not only this summer's Avengers: Age of Ultron but also a character hard-core Marvel fans might recognize from 2008's Iron Man.

The 30-second WHIH News Front promo brings back Christine Everhart (Leslie Bibb), who appeared in the first two Iron Man movies as a reporter writing for Vanity Fair who seemingly was infatuated with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark.

Apparently, she's had a significant career change since audiences last saw her, as she's now anchoring an in-universe news show that will be reporting on the aftermath of the Ultron attacks of the second Avengers movie. She also offers an update on the life of Scott Lang — who, played by Paul Rudd, will be the small-time crook made … well, smaller, in Ant-Man.

The teaser ends with a suggestion for audiences to "follow us online," so consider this the start of a last-minute promo campaign for the next Marvel movie. There's even a newly created Twitter account shown onscreen that promises an "EXCLUSIVE story on #ScottLang" next Tuesday.

Ant-Man will be released July 17. Watch the WHIH News Front teaser below.
