The juggernaut is flying past $400 million in record time after opening to a stunning $1.22 billion globally.

Avengers: Endgame continued its record-breaking run at the box office Monday, becoming the tenth highest grossing film of all time only six days into its run.

With a Monday haul of $36.7 million, the movie's global box office amounts to $1.34 billion, surpassing titles like Fate of the Furious ($1.23 billion), Frozen ($1.27 billion) and The Last Jedi ($1.33 billion).

Endgame's Monday box office was a near-record, with the movie falling behind fellow MCU titles like Black Panther ($40.15 million) and Star Wars installment The Force Awakens ($40.1 million). It should be noted both Black Panther and The Force Awakens opened over a long holiday weekend, whereas Endgame did not. Endgame did surpass Jurassic World ($25.3 million), which was the previous highest-earning Monday box office with a non-holiday release.

Endgame has dominated the international box office, with a cume gross of $948.7 million. China is the largest contributor to international ticket sales, with $349.1 million, followed by the U.K. with $60.7 million.

The final installment in the "third phase" of the superhero studio's cinematic universe was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and featured Marvel's full lineup of caped crusaders, including original Avengers Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.

The opening weekend for the Kevin Feige production has already smashed box office records, with a stunning $1.22 billion box at the global box office that included a $357.1 million North American debut.
