If you are fighting Thanos, sometimes a new look helps.

This is the Captain America image you've been waiting for.

One day after Marvel Studios' big presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, posters were unveiled for Avengers: Infinity War on the floor of the convention, and artist Ryan Meinerding has shared his creations via Instagram. Among the three posters: one featuring the Star-Spangled Avenger's bearded look while he's on the run from the law following 2016's Captain America: Civil War.

On Saturday, Marvel showed off a lengthy sizzle reel from Infinity War, which was previously played at D23 a week earlier (read a full breakdown here). But of all the impressive things on display in the trailer (Spider-Man's new suit, Thanos pulling down a moon), the detail of Captain America's (Chris Evans) facial hair captured the imagination of the Twitterverse the most.

The Infinity War footage has not been released online (legally at least — a few pirated copies have been removed), so the posters are the next best thing.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to open May 4, 2018.

July 23, 9 p.m.: Updated with the full poster set.
