Generations of Batman creators — including The Dark Knight Returns' Frank Miller, current Batman comic writer Tom King and Tony Patrick, about to begin writing the upcoming Batman and the Signal series — talk about what the Dark Knight means to them in a new panel released Friday afternoon.

The discussion, which also included Detective Comics writer James Tynion IV and Batman: White Knight writer and artist Sean Murphy, was a Talk at Google presentation recorded Oct. 5, and includes discussions about what Batman's superpower could be, and whether or not Batman could ever manage to be happy.

Also revealed in the video: the two threats Batman can never defeat. And anyone who thinks the answer is Superman, prepare to be disappointed.
