A new trailer for EA's Star Wars: Battlefront video game was released Monday, showing gameplay footage and proving that a galaxy far, far away has never seemed quite so close.

The footage, premiered at E3 2015, shows what players will see when they defend the Rebel Base on Hoth in the multiplayer game due out later this year. Running more than five minutes, it shows the player encounter not only Stormtroopers, but also AT-AT Walkers and TIE Fighters; footage taken from later in the game allows players to pilot Snowspeeders or even switch sides and take on the Rebels themselves.

The new footage was only part of EA's Star Wars news from the annual gaming convention; also announced was Star Wars: The Old Republic — Knights of the Fallen Empire, a new expansion for the game originally released by LucasArts in 2003 that will be made available at no charge later this month.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 17. Watch the gameplay footage from Battlefront and launch trailer for Knights of the Fallen Empire (The latter courtesy of IGN) below.
