Black Eyed Peas Performing Cosplay Ball Concert at L.A. Comic Con

The show will be free to three-day badge holders at the convention.

Los Angeles is in for a musical treat this Halloween.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, Stan Lee's Los Angeles Comic Con will host The Black Eyed Peas for an outdoor concert downtown that is free to three-day badge holders of the convention.

The musicians will already be at the con promoting their alien zombie invasion graphic novel Masters of the Sun, as well as signing autographs and showing off VR components that tie in to the property. It will culminate with Cosplay Ball at Club Novo, where The Black Eyed Peas and unannounced guests will perform. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The band will also hold a session at the convention Oct. 28 from 4-5 p.m.

"They are a perfect fit for the show in that they are nerds, they are talent doing some amazing storytelling in the comic book world, and they are from L.A.," says Keith Tralins, CEO at Comikaze Entertainment Inc. "This is a great chance for us to promote local, homegrown artists who are changing the world and for them to give a little something to the hometown crowd."

Black Eyed Peas Present: Masters of the Sun — The Zombie Chronicles debuted in July and was created by in collaboration with Benjamin Jackendoff and Damion Scott. It centers on a character called Zulu-X in a future Los Angeles that's both under alien attack and plagued by a virus that turns people into zombies.

Other recently announced highlights from L.A Comic Con include Dwayne Johnson speaking about his upcoming movie Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the cast of CW's iZombie and appearances by Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff, Paul Reubens, Melissa Joan Hart, Agents of SHIELD's Chloe Bennet, and Twin Peaks' Harry Goaz and Kimmy Robertson.
