Black Panther on Wednesday was nominated for a SAG Award in the category of outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture.

This honor follows the Marvel film's recent nomination for numerous Golden Globes, including best original score by Ludwig Goransson; best original song by Kendrick Lamar, Anthony Tiffith, Mark Spears, Solana Rowe, Al Shuckburgh; and, most notably, best motion picture — drama.

The other nominees for the SAG Award are A Star Is Born, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody and Crazy Rich Asians.

The movie also landed a second nom for best action performance by a stunt ensemble in a film.

Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman and directed by Ryan Coogler, was a critical and box office success, being hailed as one of the crowning achievements in the superhero genre.

The film earned $1.3 billion worldwide.

Coogler is signed on for a sequel, which Marvel has not yet dated.

The SAG Awards ceremony will air live on TNT and TBS on Jan. 27.
