'The Boys' Gets Deluxe Comic Book Rerelease Ahead of Amazon Prime Series
Ahead of the debut of the television adaptation on Amazon Prime next year, Dynamite Entertainment has announced plans for a new series of collected editions for The Boys, the superhero parody series co-created by Preacher’s Garth Ennis.
The first volume of The Boys: Omnibus Edition will run 344 pages and collect the first 14 issues of the run, originally published by DC Entertainment before Dynamite Entertainment picked it up. The first book in the series will also feature the full script to the first issue by Ennis, as well as a complete cover gallery by series co-creator Darick Robertson, and other additional features.

“The Boys has long been one of our proudest achievements in our 14 years of publishing,” Nick Barrucci, CEO and publisher of Dynamite, said in a statement. “Garth and Darick poured blood, sweat, and tears into the project for six years and 72 issues and we're excited to see new, affordable, collected editions for fans on stands in time for the much awaited Amazon Prime Video adaptation. There's never been a better time to read this series."
The first volume will be released in March, with the second and third volumes being scheduled for May and July, respectively.
