Comic-Con: 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Debuts New Footage With Show-Stealing Baby Groot
Guardians of the Galaxy is ready for round two.
The stars of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 zoomed into San Diego Comic-Con Saturday for Marvel Studios' panel, which opened with Ravagers entering Hall H from the back doors and taking over the stage and shouting insults at the crowd. Luckily, things got better from there.

New footage for the sequel then screened in Hall H, with Baby Groot stealing the show — and the hearts of the 6,500 audience members.
Director James Gunn took the stage with stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista and Zoe Saldana, as well as newcomer-to-the-franchise Kurt Russell, who plays Pratt's father in the film. The veteran actor's character will be Ego, who in the comics is a planet with a face (we're guessing that will be tweaked for the film). The sizzle reel also confirmed rumors that Sylvester Stallone will appear in the film, marking the first time he and Russell have worked together since the 1989 action comedy Tango & Cash.
The panel also revealed Guardians of the Galaxy will be made into an attraction for Disney California Adventure Park (check out more on that below).
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set for a May 5, 2017, release.
