'Egg Hunt 2019: Scrambled in Time' will drop Avengers-themed collectibles into its universe as players aim to earn their own Infinity Gauntlet.

We're in the endgame now.

As part of its annual in-game "Egg Hunt," the massively multiplayer online game platform Roblox is teaming with Disney to bring Avengers: Endgame themed collectibles to the title.

Beginning today, Egg Hunt 2019: Scrambled in Time will drop 58 "legendary eggs" across the Roblox universe. A special hub for the event serves as the launching point for the hunt, which features six branded Avengers: Endgame eggs that can be earned by solving puzzles in the central hub. Players who obtain all six Endgame eggs will earn the grand prize: the Infinity Gauntlet.

Other free, Avengers-themed in-game items include Captain America's shield, Black Widow's electric batons and the Captain Marvel mask and mohawk.

"Avengers: Endgame is a perfect fit for Roblox," said Craig Donato, chief business officer at Roblox. "We give players the ability to imagine and become whoever they want through customizable avatars, and bring that virtual identity with them on various adventures as they collaborate and connect with friends in the millions of experiences on our platform."

Players are tasked with gathering the eggs across over 40 immersive games on the Roblox platform in a quest to obtain the the Infinity Gauntlet.

The Scrambled in Time event runs through May 6 and is available on all platforms.

Originally launched in 2008, Roblox's Egg Hunt is an annual event that drops the rare collectible eggs throughout the game's universe, which can then be sold for the in-game currency, Robux. Particular eggs have different criteria in order to obtain them.

Roblox was originally launched in 2006. The game allows players to buy, sell and create items constructed with virtual blocks, akin to real-life Legos. Players pay a subscription fee to play the game and the title also generates revenue through in-game microtransactions.

Roblox is a massively popular online game which boasts over 90 million monthly users and generated over $107 million in the first quarter of 2019 alone. In its lifetime, the game has grossed an estimated $700 million globally and has been downloaded more than 227 million times.
