Disneyland's First Batch of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Reservations Hits Small Snag
Disneyland has begun to release the first batch of reservations for the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge land, but some of the recipients said there was a snag.

However, a number of those guests took to social media on Monday to share their concern about a time and date mixup with their reservations and stay dates. Disney was aware of the issue — which impacted a small percentage of recipients — and was working to fix it.
Those who want to make a no-cost reservation, but are not hotel guests, will have to wait until 8 a.m. PT on May 2. A Disney account will be required to register for a Galaxy’s Edge reservation.
Galaxy's Edge is expected to draw record-breaking crowds when it opens next month at Disneyland and Aug. 29 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
The 14-acre themed land will be unlike any attraction experienced before. With two state-of-the-art rides (Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run), a plethora of shops and restaurants (all in the theme of Star Wars so as not to feel like they are part of a Disney stop), jaw-dropping spectacles and full-scale droids milling about, the land delivers on the ambitions Iger spoke of when announcing the park at the D23 Expo in August 2015.
