It's time for the Cold War to heat up once again as the first trailer for Guy Ritchie's big-screen reboot of 1960s spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. shows spies from both sides of the Iron Curtain coming together for the good of mankind.

Erstwhile Superman Henry Cavill takes on the role of Napoleon Solo, a CIA agent forced by circumstances to team with his opposite number in the KGB, Ilya Kuryakin — played by Armie Hammer — with Hugh Grant, Jared Harris and Elizabeth Debicki filling out the cast.

In addition to directing, Ritchie co-wrote the screenplay for the franchise revival with producer Lionel Wigram (Sherlock Holmes, the forthcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them).

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. will be released on Aug. 14, 2015.
