First 'Frozen' Teaser Follows Fumbling Snowman (Video)

The Disney film, starring Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, will be released over Thanksgiving.

The first look at Frozen, the newest film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, hit the web Tuesday in the form of a funny teaser trailer.

The teaser features a goofy snowman (Olaf, played by Josh Gad) and a like-minded moose clumsily navigating a slippery frozen pond, both vying for Olaf’s detached carrot-nose.

While no major plot points or characters are introduced in the trailer, we do get a glimpse at the random hilarity of the film’s supporting cast, which may be compared to Scrat from the Ice Age franchise.

Frozen is directed by first-timer Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck (Surf’s Up, Tarzan) and stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Gad and Jonathan Groff.

The film is set to open in theaters on Nov. 27 in 3D.
