What If George Lucas Directed the New 'Star Wars' Trailer?

Are you wishing there had been some mention of the Trade Federation in the new Star Wars — The Force Awakens trailer? You're now in luck.

A version of the trailer has emerged online that claims to show how George Lucas would have directed it.

This involves lots of unnecessary CGI, an Anakin hologram and yes, even some trade talk, alluding to a plot point that was criticized by some for slowing down the prequels.

The newest Star Wars film, which hits theaters Dec. 15, 2015, was directed by J.J. Abrams. Lucas helmed four of the first six films in the franchise before selling Lucasfilm to Disney for $4.05 billion in 2012.

Compare the real version with the fake Lucas one by watching it below. Then again, the Lucas-inspired version of the lightsaber would be pretty awesome.
