'Goosebumps 2' Trailer: R.L Stine's Halloween Horrors Return to the Big Screen

Menacing gummy bears, talking dummies and Halloween creatures are brought to life in the teaser trailer for Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.

Based on the best-selling children's horror novels by R.L. Stine, Goosebumps 2 reintroduces the series' recurring villain Slappy the Dummy as the main antagonist of the film.

After stumbling upon one of Stine's novels, titled Haunted House, a new cast of kids is subjected to the torment of Slappy and the rest of the killer creatures that escape. In the trailer, Slappy's maniacal laugh rings out as the talking dummy growls, "Did you miss me?"

Although Jack Black won't be reprising his role as R.L Stine in the sequel, the film stars a new cast including It star Jeremy Ray Taylor, Caleel Harris and Madison Iseman. The cast is also joined by Ken Jeong, Chris Parnell and Wendi McLendon-Covey.

Directed by Ari Sandel, the film is set to hit theaters just in time for Halloween, on Oct. 12.
