Tony Revolori, who starred as the resolute lobby boy Zero opposite Ralph Fiennes in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, is in negotiations to join the cast of the untitled lowrider project from Universal Pictures, Blumhouse Productions and Imagine Entertainment.

The inspirational drama already has a cast that includes Demian Bichir, newcomer Gabriel Chavarria, Eva Longoria, Nicola Peltz and Theo Rossi.

The story tells of a teen (Chavarria) caught between his traditional father (Bichir) and his estranged gangbanger brother, Ghost (Rossi), who are both competing in the annual lowrider "Supershow."

Revolori will play Chavarria's best friend, a fun-loving, eager-to-please kid.

Ricardo de Montreuil, who made waves with his sci-fi short The Raven, is directing.

Revolori had a string of TV appearances under his belt before nabbing the plum part of Fiennes’ sidekick in Budapest, which is an awards player this season. The movie was just nominated by the PGA for its top award and won the Golden Globe for best film in the comedy/musical category.

Revolori has since appeared in several indies and is currently shooting The Fifth Wave, Sony’s adaptation of the Rick Yancey YA novel.

He is repped by UTA and Circle of Confusion.
