Fox has tapped Happy Endings writing duo Daniel and Matthew Libman to adapt Kyle Starks' graphic novel Sexcastle.

In January, Fox acquired the Kingsman-esque property, which is being produced by Captain America: Civil War helmers Anthony and Joe Russo.

The story follows the former greatest assassin in the world who leaves the killing business to retire to a small town only to be pulled back in.

Kyle Newacheck is attached to direct, and Blake Anderson is onboard to play the title character, Shane Sexcastle. Anderson and Newacheck, who work together on Comedy Central’s Workaholics, also will serve as producers.

Fox’s Daria Cercek is overseeing Sexcastle for the studio, while Mike Larocca is shepherding for the Russo brothers’ Getaway Productions.

The Libmans' TV credits include Bad Teacher, Marry Me and Dr. Ken. They are repped by UTA and attorney Ken Richman.
