The Clintons and their guests watched the movie at the Alama Drafthouse theater.

Hillary and Bill Clinton went to a private screening of Wonder Woman in New York City on Saturday night.

The Alamo Drafthouse theater tweeted a photograph of the visit from the former secretary of state and former president.

The theater company was recently in the spotlight when it offered to host special women-only screenings of the superhero film starring Gal Gadot. Some men criticized the screenings, but Alamo Drafthouse stood its ground and added more viewings of the film for women when the initial screenings sold out.

A spokesperson for Alamo Drafthouse said the theater had invited Hillary Clinton via its social media account and she responded by contacting them to set up a screening where she selected the guest list.

Now they'd like another American power couple to come to a film at their theater as well, tweeting an invitation to the Obamas.
