The 'X-Men' star asks for input on the final 'Wolverine' movie in 50 words or less.

Hugh Jackman has occasionally teased details about his third and final solo outing as the X-Men's Wolverine, but that doesn't mean that he's not open to other people's suggestions about how to end his career as the clawed mutant. In fact, he's asking for them.

On Twitter Monday night, he shared a teaser image for the third Wolverine solo movie (following 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine and 2013's The Wolverine), accompanied by the text, "My last time putting on the claws. What do you want to see happen? 50 words or less. I'll read as many as I can."

He might not have been prepared for the response, however; as of writing, the tweet had been favorited more than 13,000 times and retweeted almost 9,000, with responses from "make it a musical" to someone hoping for a cinematic introduction to the character's comic book offspring Daken and clone X-23.

Other suggestions included many people asking for a team-up with Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, an onscreen appearance for one of the character's classic comic book costumes, and an adaptation of Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's "Old Man Logan" storyline, set in the far future with Wolverine one of the few familiar faces in a postapocalyptic wasteland. That last one, of course, is something that Jackman himself has hinted at, most recently at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

Within a few hours, Jackman took to Instagram to thank fans for their responses, saying that he was "completely blown away" by the response. Both the Instagram video and original tweet can be seen below. The unnamed third Wolverine movie is scheduled for release in March 2017.
