Jon Favreau's a Fan of "Iron Man" Olympic Racer Yun Sung-Bin
Jon Favreau has noticed that South Korean gold medalist Yun Sung-Bin is known as "Iron Man" for the helmet he wears — and the Marvel director seems to think it's pretty cool.
The 23-year-old skeleton racer made history with his victory on Thursday, becoming the first athlete outside of Europe or North America to medal in an Olympic sliding sport.
And if his performance on the ice was not enough to turn heads, his helmet was getting the job done.
Sung-Bin dons an Iron Man-like helmet, which, when the skeleton racer is in action, makes it looks like the Marvel character is flying full-speed ahead.
Favreau directed the first Iron Man film, which officially kicked off the franchise juggernaut that is now the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Favreau also directed Iron Man 2 and appeared in both films as Happy Hogan.
"Iron Man on ice! #Olympics," Favreau tweeted with a photo of Sung-Bin in action.
Robert Downey Jr. will return as Tony Stark aka Iron Man when Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4.
