Square Enix Reveals 'Just Cause: Mobile' at the Game Awards
Square Enix revealed during the Game Awards live-stream on Thursday that Just Cause: Mobile will release on Android and iOs devices next year.
Set in the adventurous world of the Just Cause video games that follow operative Rico Rodriguez on a race against time mission to stop a lethal mercenary group, the free-to-play action shooter will include a main story campaign where players take on the enemy organization Darkwater.

The mobile game will also offer 4-player co-op squad missions, a 30-person competitive multiplayer mode where teams of 10 go head to head; and a more difficult challenge mode, where high scores result in extra rewards. Just Cause: Mobile can be played as a single or multiplayer experience and includes the ability to customize characters.
Earlier this year it was also revealed that the Just Cause franchise — which include four games — are being adapted into a feature film from Stuber director Michael Dowse and John Wick writer Derek Kolstad.
