'Justice League' Cast Unites in Video to Combat Real-World Problem

Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller are hoping to help block a pipeline in North Dakota.

The Justice League cast (minus Superman) is uniting to fight a real-world issue near and dear to their hearts.

Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller appear in a video from the London set of Justice League to promote Rezpect Our Water, an organization that opposes the Dakota Access Pipeline, which the group says could potentially harm the Missouri River.

“As a gang of Earth defenders, we want to send a big shoutout to the Oceti Sakowin and those who stand with them in opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline," Miller says in the video.

A Change.org petition opposing the pipeline has drawn more than 260,000 signatures. The organizers of the petition, young members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, oppose drilling a mile away from the Standing Rock Reservation, which they say could poison the Missouri River.

The pipeline would run from North Dakota to South Dakota and Iowa into Illinois. Dakota Access, which is behind the proposed pipeline, argue the oil it would provide would help the U.S. be less dependent on foreign oil.

Here's the original video the group opposing the pipeline posted in April:

Justice League is set for a Nov. 17, 2017 release.
