'Knock Knock' Actress Ana de Armas Joining Scott Eastwood in 'Overdrive' (Exclusive)

Ana de Armas, one of the sexy stars of Eli Roth’s upcoming thriller Knock Knock, is in final negotiations to join Scott Eastwood in Overdrive, the action project being produced by Taken director Pierre Morel and Christopher Tuffin.
The story centers on two car thieves, one of whom will be played by Eastwood, who journey to the south of France for new opportunities and wind up in the crosshairs of the local crime boss.

Michael Brandt and Derek Haas wrote the script and are also producing. Antonio Negret, who helmed the Jim Caviezel action flick Transit, is directing. Sentient Entertainment's Renee Tab is executive producer.
The project is eyeing a late November start in Marseilles, France to run through mid February.
De Armas worked in Spanish language television and film before being cast in Knock Knock, in which she plays one of two femme fatales that send Keanu Reeves’ life into a horrifying tailspin.
The movie premiered at Sundance earlier this year and has opened doors for the actress. Among the roles she’s nabbed since is a leading part in Arms and the Dudes, Todd Phillips’ comedy starring Miles Teller and Jonah Hill.
She is repped by CAA, Impression Entertainment, and Grubman Indursky.
